In our Karnataka coastal series, we’ve now reached From Shringeri to Dharmasthala.
This is 800 years old shiv temple .
Dharamsthala is the most visited tourist place in Karnataka
Located in the Southwest Indian state of Karnataka, this place is home to famous centuries-old Sri Manjunatha Swamy Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. This place is home to giant statue of highly revered figure Bahubali.

In addition to that, we also visited Manjusha Car Museum that houses manuscripts and early wooden chariots and Car Museum that includes vintage automobiles that includes 1920s Studebaker used by Mahatma Gandhi.
Manjusha Car Museum Timings: 08:30 am to 01:00 pm and 02:00 pm to 07:00 pm
We also visited Sri Chandranath Swamy Temple located just 50 meters from Manjusha Car Museum.
We partook of Prasad at Annapoorna Bhojnalya located within the premises of Manjunatha Shiva Swamy Temple. Timing: 10:30 am- 2:30 pm (Morning Time) and 07:00 pm to 9:30 pm (Evening Time)
To try local food, we ate at Trupti Upahar Gruha located opposite Netravathi Guest House, just 100 mtr from main Manjunatha Swamy Temple. We tried following items:
a) Dry Poha: Rs. 30/-
b) Sweet Mangalore Buns: Rs. 30/-
c) Pulao Rice: Rs. 30/-

We also met with head of Dharamsthala Shri Veerendra hegde , this is hegde clan 21st generation . Veerendra hegde is very humble and noble person doing lot of social service
From Dharmasthala, on our way we stopped at Sowthadka Mahaganapathi Temple. It is the only roofless temple of ganesh ji .
We end our episode at one of the most famous kartik swami temple of karnataka and india SRI KUKKE SUBRAMANYA TEMPLE
it is just 55 kilometer from dharamsthala . Kukke subramanya temple is a swami kartik temple . In kukke subramanya temple shesh naag , vasuki naag and kartik swmi ji three main idols darshan

We ended our journey with Kuke Subramanya Swami Temple. Located in the village Subramanya, of Kadaba taluk in Dakshina Kannada district, Karnataka, India, it is a widely noted Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Kartikeya who is widely worshipped as ‘Subramanya’ considered as Lord of all serpents.
