How to Make Kesari kheer by Debashri Ghosh

Ingredients

  • Kesar….. 7-8 threads
  • Milk……5 cups
  • Rice…1/4 cup
  • Sugar….5tbspn
  • Elaichi pwdr….1/2tspn
  • Cashew nuts…12pcs
  • Pista…12pcs (blanched nd slivered)
  • Raisins….10pcs
  • Almonds…..12pcs (blanched nd slivered)

Method

  1. Heat milk in a deep microwave- safe bowl on medium(70%)for 5 min,
  2. Stir in the rice and cook on medium(70%) for 25 min,
  3. Stir in the kesar, sugar, elaichi pwdr, cashew nuts nd raisins…..stir wel nd cook on medium (70%) fr 10 mins,
  4. Allow to stand for 10 mins,
  5. Decorate it with d pista n almond
  6. Serve hot or cold with love
