Fish fry – How to make fish fry at home by Irena Chowdhury

Ingredients

  • 5 fish fillets (bhetki fish)
  • 2tsp ginger and garlic paste.
  • to taste salt and pepper.
  • 3-4 green chili, pasted.
  • ½ cup mint and coriander leaves, pasted.
  • 3tsp lime juice.
  • 2 cups breadcrumbs
  • 2 egg, beaten.
  • for deep frying oil.

Method

  • Mix all ingredients except breadcrumbs, oil and eggs. Marinade for 1hr.
  • Dip fish in eggs and roll in breadcrumbs.
  • Deep fry in hot oil till golden brown.
  • · Serve hot.

 

Makes : 5 fish fries.
